Managed to spend a little more time in here this time round, we have just popped in for a quick one in the past.
This was my first stop in Holland this time round, usually I hit Den Haag or Amsterdam on the way down. After taking 3 hours to travel 37 miles to Delft, the traffic was horrendous, they are putting in a new road on the A4 Motorway at Schipol. I was eager to get stuck in. I had a pre-roll White Widow for 2 Euros and was soon very nicely toasted. The guy working there proceeded to get the cool box out and treat us to a display of his pre-roll capability. As handfuls of greenery went into a Kenwood food processor I noticed the immense build up of resin on the equipment. We were lucky enough to see this display of joint building on every occasion we visited. It's quite mellow watching someone knock up 50 pre-rolls at a time. I was in there quite a lot and came to the conclusion that they must sell a lot of pre-rolls. I recall dripping a drop 7UP down my chin as a missed my mouth, even though I had wiped my chin I was still consciously aware that the drop was still there. It was a trippy moment, you would have had to be there to appreciate it!
Spending more time there I had the pleasure of mingling with the clientele this time, it's certainly a place for locals to chill but as I stated in my last write up and as Skyterix points out, you do get quite a bit of passing tourism. They just seem to pop in buy a pre-roll and they are off on there travels. De Rits has a nice mingle of age groups, usually people on their own, or quite often with their dogs, having a coffee and a spliff and reading the paper. The location to the tram lines, train station and the bus terminus make de Rits ideal for a post shopping spliff.
Anyway, the weed menu hasn't changed and the prices are the same, least I didn't notice anything new on there..... White Widow & K2, Thai grass is dirt cheap if you like that sort of thing, Afghani Hash, Polm, and the bargain Super Maroc Blonde which checks out at 2 grammes for 5 Euros, a fraction of the price in A'Dam and you do get a nice chunk!. We also noticed that the weed is stronger in Delft, we bought White Wid in Rasta Baby in Amsterdam, and also in Coffeeshop Centrum in Rotterdam, it wasn't a patch on the stuff we bought in Delft. Stronger and cheaper weed in Delft for sure!
Another bonus of de Rits is that it's between an internet cafe bar and a snack bar, yup your typical Dutch munchie outlet, Frites and Mayo Alstublieft!!!!

Because of its location right by the train station, this coffeeshop seems to be targeted right at the tourist market. The shop is dingy, small, and the atmosphere is not really one that I could imagine someone wanting to spend a long time hanging out in. They do have internet, but this is overshadowed by the nearly worthless pre-rolled joints available. Their loose wares are of higher quality, but for my money, there are better coffeeshops to visit in Delt.

Slap bang outside the train station, impossible to miss. Although I don't have a number for the shop. Basic coffeeshop, average selection of weed but prices seem way better than coffeeshops in Amsterdam. The White Widow was out of this world, yet for 15 euros for 3 grams a canny price too. Shop has about 6 varieties of weed with about 3 types of hash on offer. Sells pre-rolls too. As with most of coffeeshops in Delft, you tend to see more locals in the shop, but we were welcomed with open arms by the staff at the Ritz. Free rolling papers, the usual hospitality. Didn't really check out any of the other coffeeshops, I have been advised that some of them are a bit dodgy! Delft doesn't have many shops as it's a royal city and strictly monitors the number of coffeeshops. I think there are about 8 or 9 in all.
