An interesting excursion to the south of the city centre is to this street market and its surroundings.
Here you will find the locals going about their business, their shopping and their coffeeshopping.
The easiest way to get there is to catch a tram (see below).

The Albert Cuypmarkt itself occupies the section of Albert Cuypstraat between the
tram routes, is open Monday to Saturday and sells everything.

In the streets surrounding the market there are lots of coffeeshops.

Trams 16, 24 and 25 stop at the junction of Ferdinand Bolstraat and Albert Cuypstraat.
The stop is called Albert Cuypstraat.
